TAG mode: Use the TAG admin card to awaken the lock in this mode, and use GARANT tags to open and close the lock.
PIN mode: Use the PIN admin card to awaken the lock in this mode, and use your pin code to open and close the lock. The numbers 1 – 4 are available for the pin code (e.g. 2 3 1 4).
Input a 4-digit pin (256 permutations) or a 6-digit pin (4096 permutations).
The lock is equipped with a capacitative touch field. For better visibility the touch field is backlit whilst in operation.
OSS mode: Use the OSS admin card to wake up the G-ELS lock into OSS mode.
This enables you to integrate the G-ELS into your existing central access management system.
Please note: the Hoffmann Group does not offer central access software systems or support for them.

Because of the lock mechanism the size of the G-ELS lock is dependent on the type of cabinet (for instance No. 960017 size GP11 fits a swing-door cabinet). Your workstations and storage adviser will determine the versions you need. The first order for a locking system must include an admin card.
Battery operation only with batteries from the Hoffmann Group. Batteries and spare parts available from the Hoffmann Group.
Once a locking system has been activated with the admin card and thus personalised, the admin card can no longer be exchanged.
