Application Area:
G-Sealed® is a non-reactive pre-coating applied to create an underhead seal for blind rivet nuts, blind rivet studs and blind rivets. G-Sealed® is particularly suitable for assembly processes in high volume production, as the non-reactive coating is easily suitable for automated processing. The pre-coating seals immediately after assembly against gases, aqueous and non-aqueous fluids at high temperatures and pressures, and due to these versatilities a wide range of applications for the user. G-Sealed® is firmly and inseparably (captive) bonded to our connectors, eliminating the need for costly rework/inspection of connectors (such as with the O-ring). Furthermore, G-Sealed® has no influence on the mechanical and geometrical properties in the application.
G-Sealed® can be used in many applications, but is particularly suitable for the automotive industry due to its excellent thermal and chemical resistance.
