Apprenticeship at SFS

SFS offers apprenticeships to become an EFZ retail specialist in the HandwerkStadt branches

Our apprentices benefit from various advantages such as cool working hours, a free public transport pass and a laptop. As a retail specialist, you will work at one of SFS's Swiss sales locations. You will advise and serve customers from various sectors. You will also be responsible for the presentation, replenishment, storage and management of goods.

Main tasks

Advise and serve customers in the sales shop, know and maintain the sales range, inform customers in detail and in a friendly manner about the quality, use, handling and care of the products, design sales stands and sales rooms, compile sales statistics and check stock levels, carry out administrative, organisational and sales promotion tasks, discuss problems with customers and look for suitable solutions, plan and place orders, monitor delivery dates, check deliveries, write complaints to suppliers and take care of the storage of goods.

Requirements

Completed secondary school with good grades in mathematics and German, enjoy selling and advising, sociability, communication skills, good manners, verbal and written fluency, good comprehension skills, organisational talent, flair for numbers, knowledge of foreign languages an advantage, willingness to provide service, customer-oriented behaviour, interest in administrative work, broad general knowledge.
