The MiSTAR 555 is a CNC coordinate measuring device which is particularly suitable in areas close to production. Due to the high resistance to rough environmental influences, the MiSTAR 555 can be installed and operated in production lines alongside machine tools.
- A high speed of travel and excellent acceleration ensure quick measuring procedures.
- The built-in ABSOLUTE Scale only needs the zero position to be set one time for all future measurements. This ensures very high measuring precision, even at a very high speed of travel.
- The thermal error correction and the selection of homogeneous materials permit high accuracy in a wide temperature range from 10 to 40°C.
- Twice the resistance to contamination caused by production than conventional Mitutoyo coordinate measuring devices.
- Developed for use in workshop and production environments.
- The compact stabiliser design and integration of the machine control and PC into the support frame means 20% less space is required than with coordinate measuring devices with similar measurement ranges.
- The user-friendly design reduces the work required for loading and unloading.
- Reduce downtime due to preventative maintenance by monitoring the condition of the coordinate measuring device with the ConditionMonitor (option).
