Description:
The Upat high-performance injection mortar UPM 66 stands for the highest standards and ideal installation. The special anchor geometry of the UHB-Inject-A system component enables the smallest centre and edge distances. The coordinated mortar recipe shortens the curing time and speeds up installation. The high-performance injection mortar UPM 66 completely seals the borehole and is suitable for applications such as underwater, railings, steel brackets or masts.
Advantage:
- Wide range of approvals: ETA concrete approval option 1 and fire protection test
- Coordinated system: Optimally coordinated system with high performance thanks to the combination of UPM 66 injection mortar and UHB composite anchors
- Optimal load transfer: The bond between the injection mortar and the cone anchor geometry enables optimal load transfer
- Wide range of applications: Also suitable for bridge railings in accordance with guideline drawing GEL 14
- Fastening close to edges: Minimal edge and centre distances with high load-bearing capacity
- Time-saving installation: Hollow drilling is possible in accordance with approvals and reduces installation time
- Flexible installation: Suitable for pre-installation and push-through installation

Application Notes:
Function: The resin and hardener are stored separately in the dual-chamber cartridge and are only mixed into a mortar when squeezed out by the static mixer. The static mixer ensures that the two components are mixed thoroughly without any bubbles and prevents the injection mortar from hardening inside the cartridge. When the nut is tightened, the cones of the UHB-I are pulled into the mortar bowl and thus braced against the borehole wall. The extruded injection mortar completely surrounds the anchor, bonds to the borehole wall and seals the borehole. For multiple use of an injection mortar, the static mixer is not removed after the first use. The mortar hardens inside the static mixer, which is only replaced when the next use is required.
Installation: The UPM 66 injection mortar is applied with the Upat composite anchor UHB-I in pre-insertion or push-through installation. Drill hole, clean and fill the drill hole. Glue in the anchor. Screw on the attachment – done. The anchor is pressed into the filled drill hole by hand with slight twisting movements. The temperature in the building material must not fall below the specified minimum value during the hardening of the mortar. Minimum cartridge temperature +5°C
