Exécution:
Thanks to its non-drying acrylic adhesive, tape no. 2090 has excellent UV resistance. It is therefore suitable for long-term masking work and for protecting surfaces that are exposed to UV rays (sunlight) and where conventional masking tapes with rubber-resin adhesive can lead to residues.
Utilisation:
Tape No. 2090 can be removed from most surfaces up to 7 days after application without leaving any residue, even if it has been exposed to direct UV radiation (e.g. on window panes). The good adhesive strength and the supple crepe paper guarantee clean colour lines. Tape no. 2090 is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Recommandation(s):
Applications on clearcoats are not recommended because of the solvents they contain. Tape No. 2090 is not recommended for applications with high water content coating systems nor for masking during high pressure cleaning. The yellow PE-coated is more suitable for this.
