The InfiniteFocusSL is an inexpensive optical measuring system for easy, quick and traceable measurement of contours and roughness of micro-structured surfaces. The sensor measures both the contours and the roughness of components. In addition, InfiniteFocusSL delivers brilliant colour images with high contrast and depth of focus.
With the Real3D technology, rotationally symmetrical components can be measured from several perspectives and automatically amalgamated into a complete 3D measurement. Users can measure flank angles and lead angles, thread pitches and undercuts, amongst other things.
- Complex shapes with steep flanks are measured to high resolution, with good traceability and repetition accuracy.
- Measurements are performed from a measurement time of three seconds.
- Measurement results contain the registered colour information of a surface.
- Large working distance (up to 33 mm) and a wide field of measurement (up to 50 x 50 mm).
- Optimum illumination of the surfaces by an integral LED ring light with 24 controllable segments.
- Repeated measurements can easily be automated.
- Tools and rotationally symmetrical components are fully measured using Real3D technology.
- The profile-based surface measurements are to EN ISO 4288, the surface texture measurements are to EN ISO 25178.
