The 3M™ Peltor™ EEP-100 electronic earplugs are equipped with a level-dependent function and thus offer dynamic control of the external noise level. This allows quiet sounds (such as voices) to be amplified and sudden noises injurious to health to be damped. In this way, hearing is protected whilst at the same time permitting higher awareness of the situation and improved communication in noisy environments. Wearers can operate the hearing protection intuitively by means of a button. This allows the basic volume to be adjusted individually. The earplugs are rechargeable via a USB port at the charging box. The small lightweight design increases comfort and thus improves the user’s wearing acceptance.
