We have added more than 60 new products to our range of cylinder screws in accordance with ISO 4762. These are strictly classified according to the standard and are available in different finishes—black oxide coating, blue galvanized, zinc flake coating and thick-film passivated—as well as in strength classes 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9, either with or without a shaft.

Our customers also appreciate the new duplex screws made of the material D6 (strength class 100, nominal diameter M6–M16), as these achieve higher mechanical values than austenitic materials thanks to their innovative mixed microstructure. For example, the 0.2% yield strength for the same ductility is higher than for austenitic materials.

Due to its higher basic strength compared to the austenites, higher final strengths can be achieved with duplex steels. For this reason, strength class 100 is a very interesting addition and, with a tensile strength of 1,000 MPa and a yield strength of 800 MPa, it achieves strength values that are only slightly below those of a carbon steel screw of strength class 10.9.
