Collets with secuRgrip® have a contour similar to a thread in the clamping bore. By inserting the threaded insert into the ground HB flat (Weldon) of the milling cutter, the combination of milling cutter + threaded insert can be screwed in the collet, thus preventing the tool pulling out.

When machining expensive workpieces, you only have one chance to get it right. Changes in length due to the tool pulling out can cause serious damage to the workpiece. ER secuRgrip collets offer maximum pull-out security when milling.

Application:
The secuRgrip® system transforms a conventional collet chuck into a chuck with pull-out protection, whilst retaining the advantages of the flexible ER collet system.

Note:
Only clamps the nominal diameter. Ensure correct seating in the collet chuck: if used, for example, in ultra-short collet chucks, remove the length compensation disc on the underside of the collet if necessary.
