Torque continuously adjustable using Torque−Setter (included). On reaching the set torque value, the screwdriver can be felt and heard to trigger and is then immediately ready for use again. Handle and blade fully insulated up to 1000 V to DIN EN IEC 60900 / VDE 0682-201. With 15 Slim blades = reduced blade/and insulation diameter for deep-set screw and spring elements (insulation ⌀ = blade ⌀).
The fully certified TorqueVario®-S VDE torque system provides controlled screw tightening and at the same time safety in electrical applications. The tool set includes an ergonomically designed torque screwdriver handle with integrated numerical scale, 15 slimBits, a bit holder and the adjustment tool. All components are conveniently and neatly arranged in a high-quality, durable bag. The VDE torque screwdriver covers a wide range of applications with its variable torque range of 0.8-5.0 Nm. A clearly audible and perceptible signal when the torque is triggered ensures a process-safe torque mechanism that protects against material damage and rework. With a triggering accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789. The insulated ClicFix bit holder ensures a secure hold of the 75 mm long slimBits by means of a mechanical blade lock. Both the torque screwdriver and the slimBits are subjected to a routine test in accordance with the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
The blade diameter of conventional electric screwdrivers is often too large to reach deep-seated screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also jeopardizes your own safety. Designed specifically for electrical applications, the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY incorporates protective insulation into the blade to enable up to 33% slimmer blades. The slimBits can thus also be used to reach low-lying screw and spring elements effortlessly. The isolated slimBits undergo a routine test in accordance with the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working in the range of live parts up to 1000 V AC.
