Description:
The fischer FID II Plus insulation plug is suitable for fixing medium-heavy attachments to external thermal insulation composite systems. Thanks to the combined centring, milling and cutting function of the plug tip, the FID II Plus can be screwed in with pinpoint accuracy. The optional use of an additional chemical component in the insulation plug, such as fischer Fill&Fix or fischer PU foam, can significantly increase the load values. This enables the secure fastening of attachments such as wall boxes, parcel boxes or satellite dishes.
Advantage:
- The use of standard screws with a diameter of 4.5-6-0 mm allows flexible use.
- Maximum stability due to glass fibre reinforced plastic.
- Due to the special tip geometry, the plug screws through plaster thicknesses of up to 10 mm without pre-drilling, which enables a fast processing.
- The additional use of a chemical component, such as the fischer Fill&Fix or fischer PU foam, can significantly increase the loads.
- The FID II Plus is easily set with a standard TX40 drive.
- The fischer insulation plug enables an universal use in all common insulation materials.

Application Notes:
- The FID II Plus is placed in the ETICS with a cordless screwdriver. For thick layers of plaster from 10 mm pre-drilling is recommended.
- The insulation plug anchors itself firmly in the insulation material without destroying the plaster.
- To increase the load, 1C PU foam or fischer Fill&Fix can be inserted into the FID II Plus using the filling aids supplied in the blister card. A precise application recommendation for the chemical component can be found in the load table.
- After curing time of the chemical component (PU foam: 14 - 24 h, Fill&Fix: 2 - 3 min), the screw can be screwed in.
- After successful pre-assembly, the FID II Plus can be additionally sealed with a sealing compound.
