Description
Description:
The fischer FID II insulation plug is suitable for fixing lightweight attachments to external thermal insulation composite systems. Thanks to the combined centring, milling and cutting function of the plug tip, the FID II can be screwed in with pinpoint accuracy. The small head diameter in combination with the underhead milling pockets of the plug ensure a perfectly concealed and flush setting pattern. The FID II is particularly suitable for fixing lightweight attachments such as exterior lamps, house numbers or doorbells to ETICS.
Advantage:
- The use of standard screws with a diameter of 3.5 - 4.5 mm allows flexible use.
- Maximum stability due to glass fibre reinforced plastic.
- Due to the minimal head diameter, the plug edge is not visible even with narrow attachments.
- Due to the special tip geometry, the plug screws through plaster thicknesses of up to 10 mm without pre-drilling, which enables a fast processing.
- The FID II is easily set with a standard TX40 bit.
- The fischer insulation plug enables an universal use in all common insulation materials.

Application Notes:
- The FID II is placed in the ETICS with a cordless screwdriver.
- For thick layers of plaster pre-drilling is recommended.
- The insulation plug anchors itself firmly in the insulation material without destroying the plaster.
- After successful pre-assembly, the FID II can be additionally sealed with a sealing compound.
