Diamond burnishing tool for material classes P, M, K, N and S.
Function:
The pressure of the diamond burnishing tip produces a material flow from the near-surface material layer.
Application:
For surface machining up to Ra = 0.3 µm on materials up to 65 HRC.
Cutting data:
Cutting speed vc = value of finish machining (start value). Reduce the cutting speed step by step if vibrations occur. Feed rate f = 70% of the value of the finish machining (start value). Infeed ap = 0.1 mm (start value) up to a maximum of 0.2 mm.
Supplied with:
Includes diamond burnishing tip and clamping screw.
Note:
A surface quality of at least Ra = 1.6 µm is recommended by way of preparation.
