The high-performance EXBA18V-40 battery delivers up to 2,000 W maximum power for demanding applications (based on internal laboratory tests, instant maximum power with a fully charged, new battery) in an extremely compact design. It is based on advanced “tabless” cell technology, whereas conventional batteries have “multi-tab” cells that use only two tabs for power conduction. This leads to a bottleneck, which increases the resistance of the battery. “Tabless” cell technology eliminates this bottleneck. Instead of just two current paths, it offers countless parallel current paths. The result is lower resistance, less heat, impressive performance and excellent energy density. With its new reinforced, robust housing, excellent heat management thanks to COOLPACK 2.0 and “tabless” cell technology, the EXBA18V-40 offers a long service life and is therefore ideal for professionals who need durability and high performance. The EXBA18V-40 has an extended charging temperature range of -10°C to +55°C battery temperature when used with the EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160. It has a 5-LED display for state of charge, remaining capacity and defect risk detection. Compatible with the Bosch Professional 18 V system and the cross-brand AMPShare battery alliance. It can be fully charged in just 30 minutes using the EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 and weighs only 605 g. Supplied in a box
