Description:
The Upat sleeve anchor UHS ensures top performance with design. The sleeve anchor is ideal for installation in cracked and uncracked concrete as well as natural stone with a dense structure. The UHS socket anchor is versatile and allows for a high load-bearing weight with a discreet appearance. The high transverse load-bearing capacity reduces the number of fastening points required. Typical applications for the UHS include railings, steel structures and stairs that require safety and an elegant look.
Advantage:
- Discreet appearance: Available with countersunk or hexagonal heads, threaded bolts with nuts and internal threads
- Comprehensive approval package: ETA concrete approval option 1, seismic approval, fire resistance and sprinkler system approval
- High transverse loads: The screw shaft and sleeve are optimally matched to each other and enable high transverse loads
- Flexible installation: The metric internal thread allows threaded rods, hooks or screws to be flexibly installed and removed flush with the surface
- Extended drill selection: Approval-compliant drilling with hollow drill bit
Material
- Stainless steel (R): For fastenings outdoors or in damp rooms
- Galvanised steel (gvz): For fastenings in dry indoor areas
Variant
- Hexagon head (S): For secure application of torque from the outside, even in confined installation spaces
- Countersunk head (SK): For a visually appealing and flush-mounted fastening
- Threaded bolt and nut (B): For series mounting and precise adjustment of the attachment
- Internal thread (I): For use with metric screws and flush removal
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Concrete C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and uncracked

Application Notes:
Function: When the nut or screw is tightened, the cone is pulled into the anchor sleeve, spreading it open and securing it in the drill hole. The plastic ring prevents rotation during tightening and ensures that the attachment is pulled securely against the anchoring surface.
Installation: The Upat UHS sleeve anchor is installed in through-hole mounting. Drill the hole, clean the drill hole. Drive in the sleeve anchor. Tighten to the specified torque – done!
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), hammer, torque wrench, electric screwdriver
