Description:
The special design of the Upat UCS concrete screw enables fast installation combined with a high load level. The comprehensive approval package (European Technical Assessment) for fastening in cracked and uncracked concrete, as well as for seismic loads and fire resistance for fire resistance class R 120, underlines the high product quality. The concrete screw is ideal for mounting railings, brackets and timber structures. The UCS US concrete screw with hexagonal head and moulded washer is used in reinforced applications for mounting slotted holes.
Advantage:
- Wide range of approvals: ETA concrete approval option 1, seismic and fire resistance
- High load capacity: Thanks to the optimised design of the concrete screw thread
- Flexible installation: Thanks to up to three approved screw-in depths
- Time-saving installation: In many applications, cleaning the drill hole is not necessary
- Safe readjustment: Concrete screw can be loosened and readjusted twice in accordance with approval
- Fastening close to edges: Minimal edge and centre distances thanks to expansion pressure-free anchoring
- Flexible choice of drill: Diamond drilling, hollow drilling and hammer drilling possible in accordance with approval
Variant
- Hexagon head (US): For secure application of torque from the outside, even in small installation spaces
- Countersunk head (SK): For visually appealing and flush-mounted fastening
- TX drive (TX): For secure installation. No over-tightening, no slipping out, no damage
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Concrete C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and uncracked
Also suitable for:
- Concrete C12/15
- Solid building material
- Masonry with dense structure
Application Notes:
Function: When the concrete screw is screwed in, the thread cuts into the building material in a form-fitting manner
Installation: The Upat concrete screw UCS is installed using through-hole mounting. Drill a hole and clean the drill hole. Screw in the concrete screw. Visual inspection – done. If installation is in the floor, ceiling or with a hollow drill, cleaning the drill hole is not necessary if the hole is drilled 3x the drill diameter deeper into the floor.
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), hammer, tangential impact wrench
