Description:
The Upat Express Anchor IMC R is the cost-effective specialist in the area of bolt anchors. This stainless steel anchor is particularly suitable for fastening medium to heavy loads in outdoor areas in uncracked concrete and natural stone with a dense structure. The Express Anchor IMC R can be used in push-through and through-mounting applications and can be hammered into the blown-out drill hole. When the nut is tightened, the bolt pushes itself into the expansion clip, which expands against the borehole wall and thus ensures a high level of holding security. The bolt anchor is used particularly frequently for fastening cable support systems and stair railings.
Advantage:
- Secure anchoring: ETA concrete approval option 7. Versatile use for secure anchoring in uncracked concrete
- Fastening close to edges: The cone and expansion clip unit enables minimal edge and centre distances
- Easy to install: Shaft with optimised diameter for low impact energy.
- Protected thread: Distinctive impact pin protects the thread from damage during the setting process
- Reliable follow-up check: The head embossing enables follow-up checks when installed
- Secure hammering: The clip remains in position during hammering, even if it hits reinforcement or unfavourable drill holes.
Material
- Stainless steel (R/A4): For fastenings outdoors or in damp rooms.
- Galvanised steel (gvz): For fastenings in dry indoor areas
Variants
- Short (K): The short version of the bolt anchor reduces the drill hole depth and the risk of hitting reinforcement, and enables quick installation while saving costs
- Large washer (GS): The large washer protects the surface of the attachment and prevents cutting into wood
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Concrete C20/25 to C50/60, non-cracked
Also suitable for:
- Concrete C12/15
- Natural stone with dense structure
Application Notes:
Function: When the nut is tightened, the bolt pushes into the expansion clip, which spreads against the borehole wall.
Installation: The Upat Express anchor IMC is installed using through-hole mounting. Drill the hole, clean the hole. Drive in the bolt anchor. Tighten to the specified torque – done. The bolt diameter is equal to the hole diameter
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), hammer, torque wrench
