Description:
The Upat URDL FUS frame anchor is a long-shaft anchor made of high-quality nylon, including the matching safety screw. With an anchoring depth of 70 mm, the URDL FUS is universally applicable and ensures a secure hold even in unstable building materials. It has ETA approval for use in concrete, solid and hollow brick masonry and aerated concrete. It is particularly frequently used in combination with hexagon screws made of electro-galvanised steel for fastening metal structures in dry areas.
Advantage:
- Secure anchoring: ETA approval for multiple fastening of non-load-bearing systems in masonry and concrete, option 1, and fire protection testing
- Upat nylon quality: Robust, durable, recyclable
- Universal application: The URDL frame anchor is a good choice for unknown building materials thanks to its expansion and knot function
- Firm hold: The anchoring depth of 70 mm ensures a firm hold even in unstable building materials and makes the URDL an all-rounder
- Safe application: The twist lock prevents the nylon anchor from turning in the drill hole
Material
- Stainless steel (R/A4): For fastenings outdoors or in damp rooms
- Galvanised steel (gvz): For fastenings in dry indoor areas
Variant
- Countersunk head (T): For a visually appealing and flush fastening
- Hexagon head (FUS): For secure application of torque from the outside, even in small installation spaces
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Vertically perforated bricks
- Aerated concrete
- Hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete
- Lime sand perforated bricks
- Thermal insulation blocks
- Solid blocks made of lightweight and normal concrete
- Solid bricks
- Solid lime sand bricks
- Concrete ≥ C12/15
Also suitable for:
- Natural stone with dense structure
- Solid gypsum boards
Application Notes:
Function: The frame anchor is anchored deep in the building material thanks to its extended anchoring depth and bridges several stone webs in perforated building materials. The anchor edge ensures a flush-mounted fastening and prevents the frame anchor from slipping into the drill hole. When the plug screw is screwed in, the anti-rotation device prevents the frame plug from turning. The special plug screw does not cut into the frame plug, but presses it more firmly against the drill hole wall. In perforated building materials, the loads are transferred via several stone webs.
Installation: The Upat URDL frame anchor is installed using the push-through method. Drill the hole, clean the drill hole. Hammer in the frame anchor. Screw in the screw – done!
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), screwdriver/electric screwdriver, optional setting tool (SK SW 8 1/2‘’ VK)
