Description:
The Upat frame anchor URD FUS is a long-shaft anchor made of high-quality nylon, including a matching safety screw with hexagonal head and moulded washer. Due to its low anchoring depth of only 50 mm, the frame anchor is particularly economical for multiple fastenings of non-load-bearing systems. Its excellent geometric design makes it an all-rounder in solid and perforated brick, and it is particularly often used in combination with hexagon screws for fastening metal structures.
Advantage:
- Secure anchoring: ETA approval for multiple fastening of non-load-bearing systems in masonry and concrete, option 1, and fire protection test
- Upat nylon quality: Robust, durable, recyclable
- Easy to install: Short expansion piece with 50 mm anchoring depth for quick and effortless installation
- Safe application: The twist lock prevents the nylon anchor from turning in the drill hole
- Flexible application: Flexible use in solid and perforated building materials
Material
- Stainless steel (R/A4): For fastenings outdoors or in damp rooms
- Galvanised steel (gvz): For fastenings in dry indoor areas
Variant
- Countersunk head (T): For a visually appealing and flush-mounted fastening
- Hexagon head (FUS): For secure application of torque from the outside, even in confined installation spaces
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Concrete ≥ C12/15
- Vertically perforated bricks
- Hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete
- Lime sand perforated bricks
- Lime sand solid bricks
- Aerated concrete
- Solid blocks made of lightweight and normal concrete
- Solid bricks
- Thermal insulation blocks
Also suitable for:
- Natural stone with dense structure
- Solid gypsum boards
Application Notes:
Function: The frame plug is supplied pre-assembled and can be driven directly into the drill hole. When the frame plug is driven in, the impact protection prevents the frame plug from spreading prematurely.
The plug edge ensures a flush mounting and prevents the frame plug from slipping into the drill hole. When the plug screw is screwed in, the anti-rotation device prevents the frame plug from turning. The special plug screw does not cut into the frame plug, but presses it more firmly against the drill hole wall. In the hole construction material, the loads are transferred via the stone webs.
Installation: The Upat URD frame anchor is installed using through-hole mounting. Drill the hole, clean the drill hole. Hammer in the frame anchor. Screw in the screw – done!
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out tool (UPM AB), screwdriver/electric screwdriver, optional setting tool (SK SW 8 1/2‘’ VK)
