Description:
The inexpensive, licence-free UPM 11 injection mortar based on polyester resin is particularly suitable for fastening in masonry in combination with a sieve sleeve and threaded rod. The 300 ml cartridge is ideal for irregular or infrequent use and can be squeezed out using a standard cartridge gun (e.g. sealant gun, etc.).
Advantage:
Product
- Cost-effective anchoring: The cost-effective mortar for non-approval-relevant fastening
- Fastening close to edges: The expansion pressure-free fastening allows for small edge and centre distances and prevents installation damage in the edge area
- Flexible working: By changing the static mixer, opened cartridges can be reused
Variants
- Cartridge Pro (360/390 ml): For long storage life and series installation
- Cartridge Standard (300 ml): For use with standard caulking guns
Content:
1 x cartridge 300 ml, 2 x static mixers
Application Area:
- Concrete
- Vertically perforated brick
- Hollow block
- Lime sand perforated brick
- Lime sand solid brick
- Aerated concrete
- Solid lightweight concrete brick
- Solid brick
Application Notes:
Function: The resin and hardener are stored separately in the dual-chamber cartridge and are only mixed into a mortar when squeezed out by the static mixer. The static mixer ensures that the two components are mixed thoroughly without any bubbles and protects the injection mortar from hardening inside the cartridge. The extruded injection mortar completely surrounds the anchor, bonds to the borehole wall and seals the borehole. In hollow brick masonry and when using a sieve sleeve, the grid structure of the sieve sleeve ensures that the mortar is evenly distributed in the borehole and prevents mortar loss in the cavity. In addition, non-load-bearing layers can be bridged. For multiple use of an injection mortar, the static mixer is not removed after the first use. The mortar hardens inside the static mixer, which is only replaced when it is next used.
Installation: The Upat injection mortar UPM 11 is used with the Upat anchor rods in pre-insertion or push-through installation and with the Upat internal thread anchors in pre-insertion installation. Drill hole, clean drill hole. Use sieve sleeve in hollow brick. Fill drill hole. Glue anchor in place. Screw on the attachment – done. The anchor is pressed into the filled drill hole by hand with slight twisting movements. The temperature in the building material must not fall below the specified minimum value during the mortar setting time. Minimum cartridge temperature +5°C. When setting the anchor in hollow brick masonry, the use of the Upat UPM-SH screen sleeve is recommended.
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), brush (UP BS), pressing device (UPM DM P/AM), torque wrench
