Description:
The inexpensive, two-component injection mortar UPM 33 based on vinyl ester can be used in conjunction with threaded rods (ASTA and UPM-A) or sieve sleeves (UPM-SH) and threaded rods in almost all building materials in accordance with the relevant approvals. It can be used in pre-insertion or through-hole installation and achieves a high load level. The 360 ml cartridge size is ideal for frequent use and can only be dispensed with a professional cartridge gun.
Advantage:
Product
- Secure anchoring: ETA approval for cracked concrete, ETA approval for masonry and fire protection testing
- Fastening close to edges: The expansion pressure-free fastening allows for small edge and centre distances and prevents installation damage in the edge area
- Efficiency in perforated bricks: The sieve sleeve for use in perforated brick masonry bridges the plaster and minimises mortar consumption
- Flexible working: By changing the static mixer, opened cartridges can be reused
Variants
- Fast-curing (Express): For a shorter curing time and fastenings at low temperatures
- Cartridge Pro (360/390 ml): For long shelf life and series installation
- Standard cartridge (300 ml): For use with standard caulking guns
- Compact cartridge (150 ml): For individual fastenings
- Craftsman's box (HWK): For safe storage, robust and stackable
Content:
20 x cartridges 360 ml, 40 x static mixers, 1 x craftsman's case
Application Area:
Approved for:
- Concrete C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and uncracked
- Vertical perforated bricks
- Solid sand-lime bricks
- Perforated sand-lime bricks
- Aerated concrete
- Hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete
Application Notes:
Function: The resin and hardener are stored separately in the dual-chamber cartridge and are only mixed into a mortar when squeezed out by the static mixer. The static mixer ensures that the two components are mixed thoroughly without any bubbles and protects the injection mortar from hardening inside the cartridge. The extruded injection mortar completely surrounds the anchor, bonds to the borehole wall and seals the borehole. In hollow brick masonry and when using a sieve sleeve, the grid structure of the sieve sleeve ensures that the mortar is evenly distributed in the borehole and prevents mortar loss in the cavity. In addition, non-load-bearing layers can be bridged. For multiple use of an injection mortar, the static mixer is not removed after the first use. The mortar hardens inside the static mixer, which is only replaced when it is next used.
Installation: The Upat injection mortar UPM 33 is used with the Upat anchor rods in pre-insertion or push-through installation and with the Upat internal thread anchors in pre-insertion installation. Drill hole, clean drill hole. Use the drill hole screen sleeve. Fill drill hole. Glue anchor in place. Screw on the attachment – done. The anchor is pressed into the filled drill hole by hand with slight twisting movements. The temperature in the building material must not fall below the specified minimum value during the mortar setting time. Minimum cartridge temperature +5°C. When setting the anchor in hollow brick masonry, the use of the Upat UPM-SH sieve sleeve is recommended.
Tools: Drill, drill press, blow-out pump (UPM AB), brush (UP BS), pressing device (UPM DM P/AM), torque wrench
