Description
Advantage:
- Quick and easy assembly and disassembly using a cordless screwdriver, tangential impact wrench or manual installation.
- The recommended loads for concrete (cracked and uncracked) make the application more secure.
- The concrete screw FBS 5 offer the possibility for use in masonry, like solid sand-lime bricks, for a flexible use in different substrates.
- Two embedment depths enable high flexibility for example for plaster bridging and a precise adaption.
- Fire resistant values according R120 enable the use in case of fire.
- The sawtooth geometry enables fast cutting into the base material.
- The expansion-free anchorage system (undercut) enables low edge and axial spacings.
- The concrete screw in diameter 5 is ideal for the installation of cable routing, surface-mounted sockets or in general non-safety-related applications that require relatively little load.
- The hexagonal head with pressed washer and ribs under the head prevent accidental loosening of the anchor making the system more secure.
Application Area:
- Eletrical installations
- sanitary, heating and air conditioning installations
- Surface-mounted sockets
- Cable Clamp
- Cable trays
- Channel systems
- Wall cabinet
- Picture frames
Recommended loads for:
- Concrete starting at C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and non-cracked
- Masonry with solid building materials with a dense structure, such as solid sand-lime bricks
Application Notes:
- Drill hole cleaning is necessary.
- The concrete screw FBS 5 US is recommended for the push-through installation.
- We recommend using a tangential impact screwdriver with a suitable impact screwdriver socket, or a cordless screwdriver or manual installation by hand.
- The screw is installed correctly when the screw head sits flush on the fixture and cannot be screwed in deeper (visual setting control).
