The HH-V400 is a modern, lightweight and portable hardness tester for metal workpieces. It operates on the Leeb rebound hardness principle. The measurement is carried out using the L hardness value (Leeb value), but it can be converted to any desired hardness scale. To ensure a reliable inspection process, an offset value is generated and saved for each individual workpiece. Up to 100 settings can be stored in the device. A total of 1,800 measured values can be stored in the device’s memory. To ensure optimum user-friendliness, all impact devices are automatically recognised by the software without the need for a compensation measurement. The same applies to the angle of measurement. The measured value is automatically compensated for in accordance with the detected angle. The display features an intuitive menu that shows key information such as range and average. The robust menu buttons ensure reliable operation even in harsh environmental conditions. An eco-friendly battery provides enough power to last a whole working day on the go. Wired accessories with USB cables or wireless data transmission accessories from the Mitutoyo U-WAVE range, together with the Mitutoyo SPC software MeasurLink, ensure optimal data analysis capabilities.
