Application Area:

  • Easy integration of PV modules into the potential equalisation.
  • The function of Terragrif®QL 0.5 x 52 x 38 is to provide grounding between the anodised aluminium frame (insulating surface) of a photovoltaic module and the solar rail.
  • Standards:
  • Continuity test in accordance with IEC 61730-2
  • Lightning surge test according to IEC 61180
  • Salt spray test per IEC 60068
  • Climatic effects according to IEC 61215-2

Application Notes:

  • Position the clamp in the correct position.
  • Place Terragrif® on the rail so that the Terragrif® surrounds the middle clamp on the right and left.
  • Position the PV modules on the rail and tighten the middle clamp with the specified torque.
  • The Terragrif® will penetrate the anodised layer of the module, creating an electrically conductive connection.
