Description
Advantage:
- The system consists of different lengths or ribs to optimise any type of layout.
- The rails are cut in pieces with pre-assembled EPDM layer.
- Pre-drilled pieces for installation with both ALG rivets and Solar-Screw self-drilling screws.
Application Area:
Installation of photovoltaic panels with long side parallel to the eaves line on corrugated sheet roofs, in particular:
- Installation with SolarMetal L rail in rod for the realization of insulated layouts (length of the system equal to the length of the profile).
- Installation with SolarMetal L rail in optimal pieces for the realization of extended layouts.
Application Notes:
- Choose the most suitable installation between rod profile or in pieces.
- For rod profiles, define the distance between the ALG rivets or Solar-Screws according to the snow and wind loads of the installation area.
- For the profiles in pieces, choose the version of appropriate length according to the snow and wind loads of the installation area.
- For rod profiles, place a layer of butyl tape between the rail and the corrugated sheet (the profiles in pieces have already a pre-assembled layer of EPDM).
- When using profile in rods, pre-drill both the rail and the sheet with a diameter of 5.5 mm
- When using profiles in pieces, pre-drill the sheet through the designated pre-holes. Apply a rivet to each pre-drill.
