The passive ear defender can be linked to a mobile phone using Bluetooth®. A microphone with wind protection, for clear comprehension of speech in noisy working areas, permits the use of a mobile phone to make calls. Incoming calls can be accepted and terminated without complications at the push of a button. In addition there is the facility via the Bluetooth® interface to transfer all the audio functions of the mobile phone to the shell-type ear defender. A rotary knob allows adjustment of the volume and colour LEDs give feedback on the various settings. SNR = 30 dB (H = 30 dB, M = 27 dB, L = 23 dB).
