DIN 6535 HE – very sturdy and excellent protection against being pulled out!
The HE-shank according to DIN 6535 has a cylindrical base geometry with h6 tolerance and an inclined clamping face. During clamping in a “Whistle Notch” holder, the inclined clamping face presses the tool into the chuck. This prevents the tool from being pulled out of the chuck and ensures reliable clamping in a very sturdy set-up.
The HE-shank according to DIN 6535 has a cylindrical base geometry with h6 tolerance and an inclined clamping face. Recommendation:
To ensure correct operation, HE shanks should only be used in Whistle Notch holders.
Note:
Not suitable for shrink-fit or hydraulic chucks.
