Description:
Ready-to-use, solvent-free, plasto-elastic 1-component sealant based on acrylic. VKF-tested quality complies with building material class B1 for use in buildings, houses and ships.
Application Area:
Paintable acrylic-based fire protection sealant for moderate movement absorption and good adhesive properties. For buildings, houses and ships for expansion, end and connection joints for window and door constructions as well as joints between walls and ceilings, partition walls, pipe and cable penetrations. Also for the connection sealing of single-pane and insulating glass, also in conjunction with laminated safety glass panes to the frame (not in the rebate area or at the glass joint). Has a fire-retardant effect at high temperatures and foams up additionally at over 200°C and is flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 4102-1 corresponds to building material class B1 between solid mineral building materials and/or metals.
Application Notes:
Only apply to clean, grease-free, dry and stable surfaces. Existing joints and loose parts must be completely removed beforehand.
