Description

Description:

Foaming 1-component polyurethane-based assembly adhesive for the efficient bonding of XPS and EPS polystyrene boards, with non-bonding safety valve.

Technical Data:

  • VOC 0.43
  • Based on polyurethane

Application Area:

For efficient bonding and mounting as well as for filling joints between polystyrene, gypsum, wood fibre and cork insulation boards. Also suitable for filling small wall openings and cavities. Very good adhesion to concrete, bitumen membranes and cold bitumen thick coatings. Adheres to almost all building materials. Do not use for thermal composite systems!

Application Notes:

Only apply to clean, grease-free and stable surfaces. This special 1-component polyurethane foam only requires room humidity for curing; dry and absorbent substrates must be well moistened beforehand.

Always observe the safety data sheet and technical data sheet!

Observe the processing temperature of the environment and the surfaces, but also of the can of 5-30 °C (ideally 20 °C) and, if necessary, cool or heat the can in a water bath before application.shake the can vigorously 20-30 times before use and shake again intensively after interruptions. Quickly screw the can onto the gun (do not overtighten/vert) and immediately apply some foam. The output quantity can be finely regulated by adjusting the dosing screw. When the foam can is empty, fit a new can and briefly fill the gun with foam again up to the outlet. If no more cans are fitted, clean the gun thoroughly with Coltogum Foam and Gun Cleaner and rinse well with the can screwed on.apply at least three continuous strips per insulation board vertically.remove fresh foam splashes in the wrong place immediately with Coltogum Foam and Gun Cleaner (check the surface's resistance to foam cleaner beforehand). Cured foam can only be removed mechanically.
