Description

Version:

Noise level meter, accuracy class 2 to IEC 60942, to evaluate the frequency according to characteristic curves A and C. Easy to adjust (calibration screwdriver included in delivery) with min./max. memory and built-in screw for stand (1/4 inch).

Function:

Frequency evaluation to characteristic curves A and C; current measured value; partial measurement ranges;
Evaluation over time (switchable between: FAST 125 ms / SLOW 1 s); min / max memory.

Application:

The ideal tool for everyday use, whether air conditioning or heating systems, measurement of machine noise or noise of an incinerator.
This measuring device measures the noise level within the range 32 - 130 decibels, and thus covers most fields of application. 30 decibels is comparable to the ticking of a clock, and 130 decibels is comparable to an aircraft engine at 25 m distance. Frequency evaluation by characteristic curve A corresponds to the sound pressure sensation at the human ear; characteristic curve C on the other hand evaluates the low-frequency components of a noise. It is essential to use the measuring device to measure the decibels at the workplace, because even in office environments it is often not recognised how high the real noise emissions are - and neither therefore how they can be counteracted.

Supplied with:

Supplied with microphone, windshield, screwdriver for calibration and battery No. 081561 size 6LR61.

Note:

Noise level calibrator available on request.
