Amecoil Clavsert threaded inserts enable heavy-duty screw connections
Application Notes:
Clavsert thread inserts are extremely resilient and wear-resistant, so that the screw connection can be tightened and loosened many times without the thread coming loose. Clavsert thread inserts make it possible to reuse or repair damaged, stripped and seized threaded holes. This also makes it possible to recover rejects from high-quality products.
They can be used very easily in light metal, steel or cast parts. Clavsert are low-wear, so that multiple tightening and loosening of the screw connection is possible and they are also protected against twisting and vibration. Inserts with internal threads larger than M6 are supplied with four locking wedges instead of two.
