Description
Advantage:
The eight advantages of the Schriever STS® geometry
- Optimal bonding of thermoplastics
- Minimum radial stresses
- High load capacity
- Lower thread forming torques
- elimination of the risk of relaxation
- No material damage
- 8° thread pitch enables optimum self-locking
- Cost-effective
Application Area:
For connections of thermoplastics in the areas of construction, assembly and load-bearing capacity.
Application Notes:
Vectorial influences
of the main forming direction
Small radial forces - low radial expansion
Our 30° flank angle reduces radial expansion compared to conventional thread flanks with 60° (e.g. sheet metal screws). e.g. self-tapping screws)
A 60° flank angle leads to high surface pressures in screw connections and therefore to increased relaxation
