Application Notes:
Welding studs made of 4.8 bright steel, for welding with ceramic spindles they are provided with a flux (aluminium ball) at the welding point. This makes it easier to ignite and stabilise the arc and deoxidises the weld pool. This is not used for stud diameters from M12.
