The PAH-DETECTOR is a white marking paint containing a special solvent that enables the PAHs to be dissolved by yellow colouring.
The PAH-DETECTOR enables the detection of PAH contents in tar down to below 100 ppm. This is not an official measurement, but only an indication of the presence of tar in the road surface.
Drying time: approx. 15 minutes, processing temperature: -10°C to +50°C

Application Area:
The PAH Detector is used for the rapid detection of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) such as tar in bituminous materials (e.g. asphalt).

Can sprays in all positions.
The material to be analysed is simply sprayed with the PAH detector. With a subsequent, immediately recognisable yellow-brownish discolouration, a PAH contamination > 150 ppm can be assumed.
