The Upat drop-in anchor USA is a time-saving solution for fixings with metric threaded screws and threaded rods. This internally threaded anchor, in electro-galvanized finish, is particularly suitable for indoor applications in concrete and dense natural stone.
It is inserted into the cleaned drill hole and then set flush with the surface using the USA-SWZ setting tool by hammer blows, ensuring fast and low-effort installation. During installation, the expansion cone is driven into the anchor sleeve, expanding it against the wall of the drill hole.
Unlike many other bolt anchors, no torque needs to be applied to the threaded rod or screw to achieve correct expansion. The USA drop-in anchor is frequently used for overhead installations and in applications with low concrete thickness for the approved fixing of non-load-bearing systems such as pipe routes and ventilation ducts.
